The Hincapie Sportswear Development Team is a registered UCI Continental Team consisting of 14 elite riders and eight juniors. Rich and George Hincapie, as well as Mark Holowesko, are staying true to the mission of being a developmental program - all of the elite riders are under 25 years of age. The team will focus on an aggressive U.S. schedule and through its anticipated performance hope for invites to major North American stage races such as the Amgen Tour of California, USA Pro Challenge, the Larry Miller Tour of Utah, and the Tour of Alberta.

While the Hincapie Development team is one of the youngest on the professional racing circuit, director Thomas Craven brings his years of experience to the U-25 team. As a former professional racer, Craven was a member of the Schwinn/Wheaties and 7-Eleven teams winning the prologue of the 1989 Tour de Trump.

“I’m looking forward to the 2014 season and I know we’re going to build off of last year’s successes,” said Craven.

“We are very excited to have Felt partner with our development team for the 2014 season,” acknowledges George Hincapie. “Their product speaks for itself and their support will be instrumental as we work towards even bigger goals and greater successes next year.”

For 2014 the team is riding Felt FC framesets for road races and criteriums, and the DA1 for time trials.
